The Lehigh Gorge Trail, The Pocono Mountains, PA

Following over 20 miles of level, abandoned railroad tracks along the snaking Lehigh River, the Lehigh Gorge Trail in Pennsylvania's idyllic Pocono Mountains is a pedestrian dream!

Walkers and bikers alike can take in the regions stunning array of unusual rock formations, wildlife, and near embarrassment of waterfalls.

And for those, who can't muster the full 20 miles, a scenic train ride may be just the ticket!

The local haven of Jim Thorpe has much to offer as well!
